The abalone shell represen the "water" element of a 4 element ritual (the other 3 being earth, air and fire), the abalone shell can be used to catch the ash and embers from your smudge stick. The abalone shell is perfect for testing your smudge stick before, during and after your cleansing ritual.
These have been harvested ethically and have been cleaned safely.
